Dr. Lucicleia Vasconcelos

She holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry from the State University of Paraiba, a master's degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande and a PhD in Agronomy from the Federal University of Paraiba/ University Avignon. He has experience in the area of ​​Chemistry, with an emphasis on food and bioactive compounds, working mainly on the following topics: product development, plant-based, quality, composition, conservation and post-harvest physiology of plant products, packaging and biodegradable coatings for food. She coordinates several extension projects related to food security, family farming, support for micro and small companies in the agri-food sector. He is currently a member of the Cearense Academy of Sciences, works as an associate professor in the Food Engineering course at the Federal University of Ciara, in the city of Fortaleza. She holds the position of Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Food Science and Technology / UFC. She teaches the subjects of Raw Materials of Plant Origin and Food Packaging at the undergraduate level. In postgraduate studies, she teaches the subject of Juice and Beverage Processing. She is the author of thirteen patent applications, including these two letters patent and another technology transfer followed by licensing.
